French-speaking mortgage brokers
Talk through your home financing in French with a Team Active Mortgage broker who lists it among their spoken languages.
Compare mortgage conditions in French
Being able to discuss your mortgage in French can make it easier to compare conditions that do not appear in a payment estimate. Ask how the lender handles extra payments, a sale before the term ends and a possible move to another property. Two offers that look similar at first can treat these events differently. A French-speaking broker can help you frame those questions and understand the answers before choosing.
If your application includes documents prepared in French, identify them early. The lender may have specific review or translation requirements, and a broker speaking French does not automatically remove those requirements. Keep original documents and explain any differences between the name on your identification, your income records and your accounts so the file can be reviewed consistently.
A language match is separate from a province match. The French-speaking roster below is drawn from our brokers’ stored languages, not a promise that each person handles every Canadian province. Tell the team where the property is located. This is especially important when moving between provinces, where legal processes and closing costs may differ from the purchase you remember.
New to Canada, or already at home here?
You do not need to be a newcomer to request a conversation in French. For newcomers, the first discussion can cover status documents, income, credit history and evidence of the down payment. Requirements depend on the lender and your circumstances. Explore newcomer mortgage planning.
The brokers below speak French according to our published roster. Language ability does not mean every broker serves every province. Share your property location when enquiring so the team can confirm a suitable match. Official lender documents may remain in English or French; arrange any required professional translation and legal review separately.
